    GESB has announced the winners of five iPhones vouchers in its recent Member Online competition. Gregory Dunstan, Alan Hansen, Devchandbhai Patel, Cherie Taylor and Anastasia Wallace were picked from 9,551 members who applied to enjoy the benefits of Member Online or updated their personal details during the competition period.

    Changes to insurance for casual employees

    GESB provides automatic insurance cover to all eligible West State Super and GESB Super members when they commence employment with the Western Australian public sector, regardless of their employment status. From 1 July 2010 new casual employees  will be required to opt-in to receive this insurance cover.

    GESB explains 2010 Budget (including video)

    Treasurer, Wayne Swan, delivering his third Federal budget to the Commonwealth stated positively and empathically that Australians; "Can be proud of the one (year) just passed."  Swan suggested that Australia had faired well on a global basis in terms of broad government and private sector economic management, overall national prosperity and job retention against a back drop of; "the grimmest set of global economic conditions since the Great Depression."
