GESB has been awarded a SuperRatings Platinum rating for 2010, making it the third year in a row that we have been ranked in the top 15 per cent of funds surveyed in Australia.

GESB Super and GESB's Retirement Income Allocated Pension have received this rating for three years in a row, while GESB's West State Super has been rated Platinum for the past two years. This reflects GESB's competitive product features and fees and excellent member education services, communications, governance and investment processes.

GESB is consistently rated amongst the nation's best super providers, with other awards including the 5 Heron Quality Stars from the Heron Partnership, Chant West's highest rating of Five Apples and SuperRatings placing GESB in the top 10 for lowest average fees¹.

GESB's investment performance has also been recognised for this award, with GESB Super Balanced Growth and GESB's West State Super Balanced plans ranking in the top quartile for one year returns, putting GESB's performance well above market median for the majority of its members in the financial year to 30 September².

Long-term investment returns have also been sound, with the West State Super Balanced plan investment performance over five years ranking in the top quartile of funds surveyed³.
