A webinar, or web-based seminar, is a seminar that is transmitted in real time over the internet. A GESB webinar is an interactive session providing participants with a convenient way to learn more about their super from the comfort of their own home by viewing a live presentation and if they wish, ask questions of the presenter.

Registered participants view the presentation by logging onto a secure online facility and receive audio content simultaneously via a telephone conference service which is toll-free for regional members or the cost of a local call for metropolitan members.

GESB webinars allow participants to participate as much or as little as they like, while keeping their personal details private from other members. All participants will also receive a copy of the presentation before the event so they can still participate via telephone even if they are not able to view the presentation online.
